Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join their client's team in California. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and looking to further their career in property management. The position involves a variety of tasks to support the property management team, ensuring that the properties are well-maintained and efficiently managed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support in the management of daily operations of properties.
  • Assist with tenant inquiries and concerns, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely completion.
  • Help prepare lease agreements and ensure compliance with lease terms.
  • Maintain accurate and organized property records and files.
  • Support financial operations, including rent collection and expense management.
  • Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to manage property services.
  • Participate in property marketing and leasing activities.
  • Work occasional weekends as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of property management experience
  • Familiarity with Housing Authority programs
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Local candidates strongly preferred

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, first shift. Occasional weekends may be required.
